Walter Franklin, son of Henry and Sarah Linebrink, was born in Tiffin Township July 2, 1874, and departed this life September 22, 1902, aged 28 years, two months and 20 days. He was married to Miss Edith Clark on October 6, 1897, who preceded him to the other world. He leaves a mother, two sisters and one brother. Brother Frank had been a Christian for some time, but like many others had laid down the cross; sometime before he died he again professed faith in Christ to the saving of his soul. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Wertenberger in the M.E. church at Evansport and laid to rest beside his wife in the Boynton Cemetery. -Defiance Weekly Express, October 30, 1902.
