OBITUARY

Tuesday, November 29, 1966

Mrs. Nellie CUSTER, 84, 1211 Jackson boulevard, died at 8:30 p.m. Monday at Woodlawn hospital, where she was a patient since September. She had been in failing health two years.

Born June 24, 1882 in Wabash county, she was the daughter of Charles C. and Olive May KEELIN AUGHINBAUGH. She had lived here for two years, moving from Cleveland, O. She was married Aug. 26, 1902 in Hastings, Mich., to Guy C. CUSTER, who died in 1935. Mrs. Custer was a member of the Lincoln-Rutledge chapter of the Eastern Star at Lakewood, O.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Chester (Ruth) OVERMYER, R.R. 1, Rochester, and Mrs. Art (Dorothy) FANSLER, Rochester; three brothers, George F. AUGHINBAUGH, Oakland, Cal.; Walter H. AUGHINBAUGH, Walkerton, and Byron C. AUGHINBAUGH, Mrs. Mary Van LUE, Mrs. Ethel PENROSE and Mrs. Mable MANNING, and four brothers, Johnnie, Clayton, Paul and William [AUGHINBAUGH].

Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. Graham MARSH officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Zion cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday, where the Rochester Eastern Star will conduct its services at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
