Emily Gentry, 82, of Montainburg died Friday, Nov. 23, 2000, in a local hospital.

She was a homemaker and the widow of Roy Gentry.

Graveside service was 2 p.m. Monday at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Owens of Mountainburg; one son, Lloyd of Los Angeles; one sister, Opal Truitt of Medera, Calif.; one brother, Otis Bryant of Stigler; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
