Mr. Balzer was in ill health for a long time and he passed away Saturday afternoon in the Texas state hospital.
Funeral services were held for Charles F. Balzer,68 of Columbus,Monday February 10,1958 at Columbus Funeral Home with the Rev.G. Wolf of St.Paul's Lutheran Church officiating.
Pallbearers were Fritz Horndt,William Horndt,Ewald Girndt,Alfred Brandt,Monroe Kuhn and Joe Knapek.
