Lavina (Moses) Twitchell Rees Jacobs, 97, died Feb, 8, 2008 in Shelley, Idaho.

She was born June 30, 1910, in Smithfield, Utah to Jesse Tilton and Lavina (Harper) Moses. She grew up in Metropolis, Nevada, Lost River, and Blackfoot.

She served in the Southern Sates Mission, where she met her future husband, Augustus Twitchell. They were married in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple in 1940. They raised their family and successfully farmed in Antimony, Utah. He died in 1970. She married Clifton Rees in 1974 in Provo, Utah. They served a mission together in Vancouver, British Columbia. He died in 1977. She married Chariton L. Jacobs III in 1978 in Manti, Utah. they lived in Mount Pleasant, Utah, and served a mission in Spokane, Washington. After his death in 1993, she moved to Shelley to be closer to her family.

She is survived by her children and stepchildren; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; five sisters; and two infant daughters, Lois Marie and Rhonda Jean.

Burial will be in the Antimony Cemetery.
