She met Don O Barnes and was married to him for 59 years.

Don & Merle moved to Kailua-Kona Hawaii & ran a successful construction business. She is buried next to John and Don's ashes were put in a vase on her headstone.
Survived by son John W.(Mary) Larson Highland Utah.
He and Merle spent their time in Kailia-Kona Hawaii, but they never forgot where they came from.
His ashes are in an urn on Merles grave. She lays next to John. Plot: D-25-3 in urn on Merle's grave
