DEATH TAKES ANDREW KISER

Funeral Services Will Be Conducted at Residence This Afternoon

After a long illness, Andrew J. Kiser, a prominent broker and well-known citizen of Atlanta, died at his residence, 826 DeKalb Avenue, yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock.

Mr. Kiser was 64 years of age, and had been a citizen of Atlanta since 1873, where he had been in the brokerage business for the past twenty years.

Mr. Kiser was born at Powder Springs, Ga., May 2, 1844. At the outbreak of the civil war, he was a student at the military institute, and in 1862 joined the confederate army, enlisting with company F, First Georgia. He served throughout the war. He joined the First Baptist church of Atlanta thirty-three years ago, and at the time of his death was a member of the Ponce de Leon Avenue Baptist church. Mr. Kiser belonged to the Atlanta Lodge, No. 59, Free and Accepted Masons.

He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Miss Lucile Kiser, and two sisters, Mrs. W. T. Worley, of Shepherd, Tenn., and Mrs. George Fox, of Kansas City.

The funeral services will be conducted at the residence this afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. Dr. A. T. Spalding officiating. The following gentlemen will act as pallbearers: George Brown, George McCarty, W. S. Duncan, Dr. Amos fox, Asa G. Candler and E. S. Lupoe.
