The Buntin mortuary had charge of funeral arrangements with Rev. W.E. Ferrell, pastor of the First Christian church, in charge of the funeral services held in the Buntin funeral chapel at 10:30 this morning.
Mr. Percival was a native of Ohio coming from a family of educators, he being a university graduate himself. He was seventy years of age at the time of his death having been born on July 4, 1862.
Fifty-one years ago he heard the call of the west and came to Clarendon which was little more than a small village of tents. He plied his trade as a paper hanger and painter the greater part of the time until he reached that age when compelled to slacken his pace. He was of a quiet unassuming disposition and had very little to say about his earlier life. He leaves a widow and four children of his immediate family to mourn his passing.
