The daughter of William Cory and Lisa Bigan, Anna married John William Roberts, Sr. about 1878, and they were the parents of 9 children.

John was a farmer. The family lived in Kansas until the 1890's when they moved to Illinois.

Anna's husband, John, died in 1901.

Children: 3 sons, 3 daughters, 3 unknown.

After John's death, Anna married Peter A. Dagne around 1905. They lived in St. Louis, Missouri, and were the parents of 1 child. [Anna reported in 1910 that she was the mother of 13 children, but only 8 were still living.]

Peter was a tinner in a tinware factory.

He died in 1918.

Children from second marriage: 1 son.

By 1920, Anna lived in Wray, Yuma County, Colorado with her 2 youngest sons, Dick and Llewellyn. Dick supported his widowed mother by working as a core maker in a foundry.

The family moved back to St. Louis in the very early 1920's.

Anna died 2 days after her 63rd birthday in 1922. She was buried next to her first husband, John.
