Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Christ Church Cemetery in Bastrop under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop, Louisiana.
Mr. Kennedy died Saturday, August 7, 2004 at the Ashley County Memorial Hospital in Crossett, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bartley James "B. J." Kennedy; a brother, James Kennedy; and a sister, Betty Lou Keiser.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James Bryant and Angelique Kennedy of Empire, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Donita and Rev. Keith D. Butler of St. Joseph, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Scott Smith of Crossett, Arkansas; daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Dennis Maxwell of Haughton, Louisiana; mother, Audrey Mae Kennedy Brown of Minden, Louisiana; brother, Gerald H.
