The son of the late Virgil Vance and Elizabeth Harriet Theuret Case, he was born Dec. 18, 1915, in Woodhaven. He was the widower of Dorothy Stratton Case.
He was a former Democratic committeeman in the Town of Thompson.
Survivors include three daughters; one granddaughter; three grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Episcopal Church, St. John Street, Monticello. The Rev. Peter Turner will officiate.
Cremation was private.
Funeral arrangements were made by Ramsay's Funeral Home, 66 St. John St., Monticello.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
