Daughter of the late Frederich and Anna Maria Louise Meyer Oestmann, she was the widow of Lonnie L. Bobo (married on September 18, 1943). She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She worked in Happy Valley/Stroud School for many years. She was survived by two children, Carl Bobo (Carolyne) and Lucille "Luci" Perdue (Larry); seven grandchildren, Craig Hutson (Mershon), Brad Bobo (Amy), LeeAnne Redmer, Adam Hutson, Carla Moreland (Michael), Sara Perdue, Justin Perdue (Shannon; three great-grandchildren, Ryann Hutson, Bryce Hutson and Grace Moreland; and an extended family of relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Oestmann and Reinart Oestmann; four sisters, Magdalena Wolff, Laura Rogers, Lilly Oestmann and Esther Ewen. Her funeral was held June 1, 2010, at Immanuel Lutheran Church with The Rev. Cheryll Armstrong-Kaukis officiating.
