Esther L. Cosselman, 94, of Fulton, died Thursday at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton. Born in South Onondaga, she had been a resident of Fulton for over 60 years. Esther received a scholarship from Columbia University and graduated with a degree in nursing in 1940. After Columbia she completed her nursing residency at Yonkers General Hospital in Yonkers, New York. After graduation, Esther worked as a private nurse. She then joined the Nestle Company in Fulton as a Registered Nurse until her retirement. Esther was a member of State Street United Methodist Church in Fulton. She was predeceased by her husband, David H. Cosselman who died in 1997. Surviving: a sister, Beatrice Caines McMahon of Baldwinsville; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Caines of Fulton and Mary Jane Ryan Caines of Rochester; a niece, Ada Caines of Pennellville; five nephews, Robert Caines of New York City, Peter (Margaret) Caines of Rochester, Nicholas Caines of Rochester, Richard Caines of Pennellville and Thomas (Shirley) McMahon of Baldwinsville; six grandnieces, Kim Loura of Central Square, Lori Zepp of Mattydale and Lindsay, Lauren, Olivia and Allison Caines all of Rochester. Funeral services are 12 Noon Monday, April 25, 2005 at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial will be at Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.
