Brenham, Tx.-Ida F. Oest, 85, of 406 Cottonwood St. died 4:55 a.m. Thursday at her home. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the James Crowder Funeral Home chapel, the Rev. Robert Wedegren officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock.
Mrs. Oest was born March 13, 1894 in Bellville, Tx, and was a housewife.
Survivors include three daughters Mrs. F. L. VanOpen and Mrs. Ralph Adams, both of Burton, Tx. and Mrs. Robert Rhodes of Galveston; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
