Services for Forest I. Green, 50, an inspector at Gar Wood, were held in the Coldren Funeral Home. Dr Tennyson Guyer officiated and interment followed in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Green was found dead Thursday night in his automobile in the 400 block of S. Main St. Dr. R. E. Nelson, assistant Hancock County coroner, returned a verdict of natural death due to a coronary infarction. He placed the time of death at 11:15 p.m. Thursday.
He was born August 10, 1907 in Hancock County to Lester and Margaret (McCartney) Green and on November 17, 1936 married Hazel Moore.
Surviving are his wife; mother, 500 Findlay St.; brothers, Lloyd Green, 341 Wilson St. and Darrell Green, Fremont.
Mr. Green served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945 and was a member of the AMVETS.
Friends had the opportunity to call at the funeral home.
