Born June 6, 1915, in Mayfair, Ill., to August and Dora (nee Lyon) Schwemm, he died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1999, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
Mr. Schwemm was a member of the Frank H. Nagle Jr. American Legion Post of Fox River Grove.
Surviving are his brother, Clifford (Hazel) Schwemm of Cary, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Grace (LeRoy) Pepper, Cora (Julian) Dvorak and Dorothy
(Frank) Willard; and brothers, Harold and Willard Schwemm.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
