Born June 18, 1893, in Americus, he was the son of John and Catherine Yost Cunningham. His wife, the former Alma Claire
Shaw, died in 1959. A former employee of Globe Valve Company in Delphi, he was a member of the Battle Ground United Methodist Church.
Surviving are six sons, Duane, Brookston; John, Delphi; James, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; George, West Lafayette Paul of Matthews; and Bruce, Battle Ground; two daughters, Mrs. James Moss of Lafayette, and Mrs. Lyle Pettit of Battle Ground; one brother, Alfred, Rt. 3, Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Fosnot and Mrs. Marie Crouse, both of Dayton, Ohio; 25 grand children and 15 great grandchildren.
The Rev. Roger Cunningham officiated at the services. Burial was in the Battle Ground Cemetery.
