Kathryn May 71, a longtime resident of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, June 10, 2010. Born Sept. 22, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Clair and Pearl Mickle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Ruch Ruch,; a son, Ben Hassa; and two brothers, Paul and Tommy Mickle. Kathryn is survived by two daughters, Donna Sperl and JoLynn Smith; a son, Richard Mickle; two stepdaughters, Linda Lubet and Donna Gurule; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Shirley) Mickle; and a sister-in-law, Carol Mickle. She enjoyed her cats and traveling in her motor home. A private funeral service will be held in the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Kecksburg.
