Mrs. Cyril Haag of Ledyard, Iowa, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, following a two-month bout with cancer. She was 74 years old.

The former Catherine Boever was born in Granville May 16, 1894. She was married to Cyril Haag of Hospers March 7, 1916, in St. Joseph Catholic church, Granville. The couple farmed near Hospers until 1920 when they moved to Ledyard.

Mrs. Haag is survived by her husband; seven sons, Claude of Swea City, Melbourne and Vernon of Ledyard, Merlyn of Ames, Dr. Arthur of Otlumwa, Francis of Elmore, Minn., and Lyle of Kansas City, Mo.; eight daughters, Mrs.Colette Schneider of Algona, Mrs. Pearl Irmiter of Blairstown, Mrs. Ruth Arcand of St. Paul, Minn., Sister Blanche Marie Haag of Alton, Mrs. Darlene Cayler of Bancroft, Mrs. Isabelle Hatten
of Piinellas Park, Fla., Mrs. Mary Ann Reilly of Ledyard, and Mrs. Rita Putze of Wichita, Kas.

Also surviving her are two brothers, Peter Boever of Belgrade, Minn., and John Boever of Marcus; and three sisters, Mrs. Irene Schnee of Alton, Mrs. Eleanor Schemmel of Granville, and Mrs. Mary Roder of Sioux City. There are 37 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 21, in the Sacred Heart Catholic church, Ledyard, with the Father Marvin Hood officiating.
