Gladys Burns married C.F. Marshall on 19 December 1909 at Graham, Texas. Her husband was an attorney with the law firm of Marshall and King. The couple moved to a ranch near Canyon, Texas in 1948.


Services for Charles Fay Marshall, 66, were held at First Baptist Church in Graham officiated by the pastor, Rev. Hubert Foust assisted by Rev. J.C. Johnson, the pastor of First Presbyterian Church.


Mr. Marshall was a member of the Baptist church and the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of Knights of Pythias. Mr. Marshall was formerly Young County Attorney. He was a lawyer and the founder of an Abstract company - Marshall and King. C. F. Marshall and B.W. King were partners in their law office for many years.


Survived by his wife; two sons - Douglas Marshall and Walter Marshall; three daughters - Erline, Annie and Rosalind; his parents; two brothers; three sisters.
