Fannie R. Falk was born in Ash Grove to Sarah Ann and Jasper Curry, Mar. 19, 1871 and spent her entire life in Shelby County. She departed this life at her home in Strasburg, Oct. 21 1936. She united with the church at Old Mode while young and remained true to the faith all her life. On Dec. 1, 1889 she was united in marriage to Norman Blue, who died Jun. 7, 1904. On Apr. 18, 1906 she was united in marriage to Joseph Falk who died Nov. 5, 1935. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Ella Blue and Mrs. James Tressler, and two brothers, William and Silas Curry. She also leaves Mrs. Mary Steele, whom she had taken into her home eleven years ago and who had so patiently cared for her during her invalidism, also little Helen, a daughter of Mary, who helped to cheer and make the last years more pleasant. There are many other relatives and friends who have done so much and who will greatly miss her cheery smile. Strasburg Herald - 30 Oct 1936
