Mrs. Alcorn died Wed., May 7, 1997, at Brookhaven Health Care Center.
She was born in New Jersey and came to Kingsport at age 13 and graduated from Kingsport High School.
Mrs. Alcorn was employed with Kingsport Press for several years. She resided in Clinton, Mass. For a number of years before moving to Cookeville, when her husband retired. She returned to Kingsport in 1985.
Her family includes one sister, Lydia Crawford of Marietta, Ga.; one brother, Eugene G. Ernst of Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Alcorn; two sisters, Verowna Glass and Mildred Ernst; and one brother, Phil Ernst.
Rev. David Eisenmenger will officiate at the services.
