Frances was the mother of David Anderson Hampton, Eva L. Nesmith, William Oliver Nesmith and J. W. (Jim) Nesmith.
She, along with her son David Hampton and daughter Eva L. Nesmith, moved to Texas from Alabama in 1900.
Initially there were only temporary markers for Frances and four other relatives.
During a construction project these five markers were moved and the sites of the graves were lost.
In 1996 a marker commemorating these five people was placed at the approximate location of their graves.
