Died after being swept away in the Flash Flooding at Caddo Gap, Arkanasas along with his son Joey and daughter, Katelynn. Although their deaths actually occurred in Arkansas the SS death index shows them in their hometown of Gloster.

Funeral services for Anthony Smith, 30, Joey Smith, 5 and Katelynn Smith, 2 will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday June 18, 2010 at Kings Highway Christian Church. Officiating will be Rev. David Brice. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday June 17, 2010 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside.

Anthony was born on December 29, 1979 in Shreveport, LA to Keith and Nancy Smith. He was a resident of Gloster, LA and co-owner and operator of One Call Technology. Anthony was a Christian and encouraged his family to follow a Christ like lifestyle. He proudly served his country in the LA National Guard. Anthony enjoyed many hobbies: fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding, playing the guitar, but most of all his number one joy was being a faithful friend, a loving husband and the best daddy his children could ask for.

Anthony, Joey and Katelynn perished in the floods in Langley, AR while camping.

Anthony was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lloyd Smith. He is survived by his wife, Candace Frazer Smith; son, Austin Rachal; mother, Nancy Simmons Hathorn and stepfather, Dr. Alfred Hathorn; father, Keith Smith and stepmother, Vicky; grandparents, Donald and Priscilla Simmons and Gloria Smith; sister, Nicole Stice and husband, Chris and their children, Rory and Gentry; brother, Aaron Smith and wife, Laura and their daughter, Amber; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Kim Frazer; sister-in-law, Cherie Addison and husband, Jason and their children, Hunter and Logan.

Honoring Anthony, Joey and Katelynn as Pallbearers will be Jason Addison, Doug Terrell, Troy Swenson, Brandon Bounds, Aaron Brewster, Michael Kubat, Chris Madden, Kyle Webb, Sean Duran, Drew Morehead, Sean Cruz, Brian Haydel, Robert Robbins and Keith Habetz.
