Lois Laskoski Mason, 85, passed away at her home on April 23, 2004. She was born on July 8, 1918 to Daniel and Flossie Sherman in Flint, Michigan. She graduated from Spring Arbor High school in 1936. She loved the Lord her entire life and lived as a Christian. She was an artist who produced works in oil, watercolor, cloth, upholstery and multi-media, and painted many beautiful wall murals. She also loved to hike, had been the director of the Prescott Arizona Hiking Club, a litter lifter for many years, and led seven hikes down Havasupai Canyon. She was an avid correspondent with friends and family, all over the country. She was preceded in death by her parents, and all of her siblings: Murray Sherman, Luella Overeem, Ruth McCoy and Millard Sherman; as well as by infant children, Sharon Lois, conjoined twins, Lewis and Leon, and Jamie Laskoski; spouses, Lewis Laskoski and Willard Mason. She leaves her loving children, Karen Spira (Bullhead City, AZ), Daniel Laskoski (Santa Rosa, CA), Kathryn Hammond (Lake Havasu City, AZ) and Sue Rohlicek (Pleasant Hill, CA), as well as 7 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
