She was born August 3, 1919, in Dallas, Texas to the late Margaret Sullivan and Emmett Leon Finley. Mrs. Herrington was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Roy A. Herrington; and daughter-in-law, Tex Ann Herrington. She is survived by her children, Roy Herrington Jr., Rush Herrington and wife Freddie; Harriet Herrington, and Gayle Morton; half brother, Emmett Finley and wife Freddie; half sisters, Barbara Counts, and Joyce Christian; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
