Shawnee resident Phyllis A. Ragsdale Cook Hill, 64, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 in Shawnee
She was born March 3, 1946 in Chandler to Guy and Thelma Ragsdale. She attended Chandler High School. She married Allen D. Cook – July 1963 and later Charles R. Hill – January 1990.
Phyllis enjoyed loving and caring for others, but most of all she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren Matthew and Amanda Cook. She worked in Home Health Care.
She is preceeded in death by, her parents; a brother, Lee Ragsdale; a sister, Brenda Kay Van MacBroom; sons, Brent E. Cook and Allen D. Cook Jr.; husband, Charles Hill; granddaughter, Lacey Cook, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is survived by, three sons, Allen Lee Cook, Darren Cook, and Clayton Cook, all of Shawnee; two daughters, Becci Austin of Edmond, and Meggan Manuszak and husband Martin of Oak Harbor, Wash.; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
Burial services will be 10 am Monday, June 14, 2010at Oak Park Cemetery - Chandler with Bill Matthews officiating under the direction of Walker Funeral Service.
