Mr. Harvey Wesley Shockley, 88, of Clayton, OK died Saturday, March 13th, 2010 at his residence. Harvey was born in Sardis, OK on May 27, 1921, the son of the late James and Lessie Rachel (Bridges) Shockley. He was the husband of Lydia (Norris) Shockley. They were married April 15, 1946 in Paris, TX. Harvey was known as the "Deer Camp Coordinator" and loved to go to deer camp with all his kids, grand kids and great-grandkids. He also loved going to his grandkids shows and ballgames and loved a good game of pitch. Harvey always worked hard to provide for is family. He is survived by his Wife Lydia Shockley of the home; Son Danny and Margaret Shockley of Clayton, Ok; Son-in-Law Eddie Bradway of Clayton, OK; Grand-Daughter Nicole and Sam Roberts of Clayton, OK; Grand-Daughter Tracey and Daniel Garrison of Clayton, OK; Grand-Daughter Lessie Brown of Idaho Falls, ID; Grand-Daughter Cassie and William Brown of Orem, UT; Sister Pauline Hamman of Oklahoma City, OK. He is also survived by 9 Great-Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters: Deana Pennington and LaDonna Bradway, a grandson Wesley Bradway, a brother Edgar Shockley and 3 sisters: Eula Tarney, Ada Brumfield and Lela Bridgeman. Memorial Service at at Sardis Community Center, Clayton, OK, at 10:00am on Saturday, March 13th, with Gary Fuller officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Clayton Funeral Home in Clayton, OK.
