Sarah Sophia Cessna died Wednesday, May 20, at 7 PM from complications. (1951)
Born December 3, 1860 in Atwood she was a daughter of John and Barbara Harmon Bark and is survived by six sons: Tom J. Cessna of Rural Valley, R D 1; Harp Cessna of Pittsburgh, California; Frank of Shelocta RD 1; Blair Cessna of Dayton, Pa; Ira Cessna in Ohio; and Dallas Cessna of Kokomo, Ind; one daughter (Clara) Mrs. Charles Ross Gregg, Youngstown, Ohio; 32 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren. also by four half-brothers: Charles Bark, Spring Church; William Bark, New Kensington; Frank Bark, Tarentum, and Daniel Bark, Tarentum.
Mrs Cessna was amember of the Luthern Church, Gastown.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Clark Funeral Home at Elderton, Saturday, June 2, at 2:00 pm by the Rev Howard Amick. Friends will be received at the Clark Funeral Home, on Thursday, May 31, and Friday, June 1 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.
