Opal was born in Mart, Texas, to the late Samuel and Willie (Crenshaw) Adams. She was the last survivor of nine children. Opal worked several years at General Tire, but most importantly, she was a housewife and mother and she loved her family dearly. She enjoyed canning, sewing, embroidery, collecting dolls and studying scripture.
Opal was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Dock Allen Everett; and son, Thomas Allen Everett.
She is survived by son, Robert E. Everett, of Navasota; daughters, Dorothy Carruth and husband, Conrad, of Waco, and Nancy Denna Milligan and husband, Larry, of Temple; 11 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
