ADOLPH BOETGER
Jul. 12, 1914 - Jun. 2, 2010

Milwaukie resident Adolph "Art" Boetger peacefully died on June 2, just one month before his 96th birthday.

He was born on July 12, 1914, in McLain, Neb., and had lived in Jennings Lodge since he was 9 years old.

He served in the Army Corps, in the Signal Corps during World War II.

He had been a foreman for the Portland Police, at the Jefferson Street police garage for 17 years; he was retired.

He is survived by: Marian Boetger, his wife of 60 years; daughters, Carol, and Janelle; son, Gary; sister, Ann; nephews, John and Roland; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, David, and his sister, Rose.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on July 12 at Mt. View Cemetery in Oregon City, followed by interment.

A visitation was held on June 7.

Arrangements: Hillside Chapel.
