Malvin Erickson died at his home, six miles east of Blue, Earth, of a heart attack. Funeral services are to be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Arling Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 12, 1884, near Frost. His parents were Mr.& Mrs. Steffen O. Erickson. He lived a few years in Blue Earth, leaving to take up residence near the Miller Creamery which he served as buttermaker for 28 years. From 1900 to 1903, he lived in Bergen, Norway. July 22, 1911 he was married to Regina Markeland of Blue Earth. He was a member of the Trinty Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his widow, three sons, Odin, Earl and Arvin and one daughter Marjorie; five brothers, Leonard in Rochester, Christian, Oscar, and Arthur all in Michigan; four sisters, Mrs. Hilma Mondahl, Polly Markeland, Mrs. Esther Owens and Anna Erickson of Fox Lake.
