Jean married Clarence R. Crandall on Feb. 12, 1942. Dr. and Mrs. Crandall opened his medical practice in Eau Galli in 1954. Together Jean and Clarence provided loving care to the community for 35 years.
She is survived by Dr. Valerie Crandall and husband, Jerry Jackson of Ft. Myers, Dr. Blane Crandall and wife, Doshie of Naples, Charlene Crandall of Melbourne and Dr. Melanie Crandall and husband, Dennis McMahon of Pompano Beach. Jean is also survived by her sister, Jan Swensen; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step grandchildren who will miss their Nana dearly, along with nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Jean.
Jean was predeceased by her husband, Clarence; and son, Howard.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 6, at 11 a.m. at the Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 560 Montreal Ave., Melbourne, FL 32935.
Jean was known for her grace, humor and hospitality. As you navigate the by-ways and highways of your life remember her quoted advice, ''Drive Friendly.''
