Frank served in the US Air Force between 1968-1972, attaining the rank of Sgt. He served as security police at Kempo Air Force Base in South Korea, and at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. After his military service, Frank worked as security police at Buckley Air National Guard in Aurora, Colorado.
Frank later obtained his black belt in Taekwondo, whereupon he opened a Taekwondo school which specialized in teaching the martial art, as well as discipline, integrity, self confidence, and the importance of school and education to children and young adults. In this role, perhaps one of his most important, Frank crossed the paths of many youths and helped them find self-worth and direction in their lives.
Frank later moved with his family to Washington State, where he later passed away due to complications from diabetes.
