ARCHIE M'EACHRAN CALLED BY DEATH
Caledonia, Ill., March 14 - The death of Archie McEachran occurred at his home here early this morning. Mr. McEachran had been in ill health for some time and on Saturday submitted to a difficult operation, two Rockford physicians assisting in the operation.
The deceased had reached the age of 73 years and was one of the well known residents of this vicinity. Half a century of residence in the community had sufficed to make him one of the prominent and highly respected residents of the Scotch settlement and in his last illness many were in inquiries as to his condition. He was the son of John McEachran, a pioneer of this vicinity.
Mr. McEachran leaves to mourn his death two sons and one daughter, aside from hosts of friends. The children are Mrs. Matthew McMillan, Mrs. James Lang and John McEachran.
