Obit: Death of J. W. Satterfield
James William Satterfield was born to Columbus and Sarah
Satterfield, Aug. 25, 1868 in White County, Arkansas and
passed away at Sadle, Ark., April 15, 1950 at the age of
82 years.

He was married to Frances Spither at the age of 19. To
this union was born one son, Homer, who is now 62 years
old.

In 1896 Mr. Satterfield married Mrs. Nancy Jane Green, a
widow with four children, Sherman of Gainsville, Missouri, Mrs.
Rosa Hoskins of Yale, Mrs. Phoeba Simpson of Yale, and
Ramsey who died in 1941.

To this union were born 7 children, Mrs. Ona Marshall,
Gainseville, Missouri, Shed of Casper, Wyo., Mose of Sadle, AR.,
and Columbus of Yale. Two Sons and one daughter preceeded
him in death.

Besides his children he leaves 28 grandchildren and 33
great grandchildren; two brothers and two sister to mourn
his passing.

Funeral services were conducted at the Christian Church of
Yale, Wednesday April 19 at 10 a.m. by Minister Roy F Horton.
