He had served many other years as an associate minister and was a longtime elder. Mr. Baker had served in Texas Churches in Leonard, Jacksboro, McKinney, and League. He served Oklahoma Churches in Noble, Antlers, Cache, Coalgate and Wilburton. William Hughes Baker, Jr. graduated from Grahan High School and Abilene Christian College in 1950. He served in the Field Artillery in World War II. He and his wife were married in Greenville, Texas, October 17, 1942. --Contributed by Searchers of Our Past
