Ethel W Malott, 69, Excelsior Springs MO, passed away Monday, June 7 2010 at the Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral Services will be at 2:30pm Friday, June 11 2010 at the Polley Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs.
Ethel was born on May 5 1941 in Vibbard MO, daughter of Jewell Thomas and Mary Orilla (Crouse) Adams. She attended the Vibbard Christian Union Church as a child and then attended church at the Salvation Army of Excelsior Springs.
She was married to Claude Newton Malott who preceded her in death in 1987. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include daughter Sandra Moore of Rayville MO; son Dale Malott of Lawson MO; sister Myrtle Pate of Excelsior Springs; brother Earl Ray Adams of Excelsior Springs; 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by daughter Shelly Downs along with her infant son Justin Downs, and siblings Wayne Adams, Carol Adams, Charles Bill Adams, Naomi Johnson, Jim Adams, Lou Ellen Adams, and Robert Franklin Adams.
