Services Friday At First Freewill Mrs.Mary Haney, 58, wife of John Boyd Haney, died at her home, 461 Vine Street, Tuesday December 9, 1958, at 7:40 a.m. following an illness of one year.
The daughter of the late William and Sally Ann Rader Mayse,she was born October 15, 1900, in Lee County
She had made her home in this city since 1922 and she was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving besides her husband is three sons, Arville and ArchieHaney, both of this city; Able Haney, Williamson, W. Va.; one daughter, Mrs.Burl Ward, Charleston, Ind; two sisters, Minnie Flannery, Arville, Ky.; Mrs. Emily Whitt, Grey Hawk, Ky.; one brother, Andy Mayse, Port Deposit, Md.; six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 12, 1958, at 2:00 p.m. from the First Freewill Baptist Church on Third Street with Rev.Scott Castle and Rev.Henry Tackett Officiating.
Burial will be in the Town Cemetery.
