Rest in peace. Marie Grace Ladewig, 81, of Louise , died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005 at Garden Villa Nursing Home following a long illness. Later they owned and operated Ladewig Cafe in Louise for many years. During this time, she pursued her dream of becoming a nurse. Marie was an active member of St. Procopius Catholic Church in Louise, a member of the Hillje-Louise Catholic Daughters of America, Louise Altar Society and the KJZT. She was a very creative person, the original makeover artist, turning simple things into works of art, whether it be with paint and brush or needle and thread. She loved gardening and plants responded to her in an amazing way.
