Willie Ray Crawford
SANGER — Willie Ray Crawford, 92, of Sanger, a researcher and developer for Zebco Brunswick Fishing Co., died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, in Denton.
He was born Aug. 31, 1911, in Sanger to Tol and Flora (McReynolds) Crawford. On Feb. 10, 1932, he married Helen Hicks in Marietta, Okla. She died March 5, 1991.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, at Sanger Cemetery. John Payne will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 22, at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger.
Survivors include three daughters, Bettie Coppedge of Waxahachie, Karla Moomau of Kansas City, Kan., and Kristie Sanders of Wylie; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
