Thomas B. Allison, Good Citizen, Dead
Thomas B. Allison, a prominent citizen of Brown county, died at his home, eight miles east of Nashville Monday. His age was seventy-one years, six months and fourteen days. Mr. Allison was born in West Virginia, but had lived most of his life in this county. He was a member of the North Salem M.E. church, and was an honest and upright citizen, who enjoyed the esteem of all who knew him.
He is survived by his grandson, Glenn Allison, of Nashville; a brother, John Allison, of Illinois, and a sister also living in Illinois. Robert his son, died a few years ago.
Funeral services were conducted at the North Salem M.E. church yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. K.D. Vandeventer officiating. Burial in the Dobbs cemetery.
