Albert- Services for Bertie D. Mandell, 63, of Albert will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Oney Baptist Church with the Rev. L. L. Gillingham officiating and the Rev. J. A. Munson, pastor assisting.
Mandell was born Aug. 17, 1926 in Stigler and died Monday in a Lawton hospital.
She worked a number of years as a licensed vocational nurse. She grew up in the Stigler area and was a graduate of Keota High School. She married Lloyd Mundell March 2, 1946 in Fort Smith, Ark. She and her husband lived in Stigler and then lived in California 30 years. They moved to Albert in 1986.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one grandaughter.
Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons, Dan of Oklahoma City, Kelsey Reed of Lawton and Mike of Albert; one brother, Paul Callahan of Graham, Texas; one sister, Eva Lou Lundgren of Shafter, Calif.; five grand-children, and a great-grandson.
Burial will be in the Albert Cemetery under the direction of the Fort Cobb Funeral Home.
