Graveside services were held Sunday morning at the Hillside cemetery for Mrs. Lela Green, 80 year old North Loup woman, who died last Wednesday at Omaha.
Reverend F. D. Saunders officiated at the interment ceremony.
Mrs. Green was born Lela B. Potter near Peoria, Illinois, March 14, 1875. When she was two the family moved to North Loup. All homesteaded two miles west of North Loup where they lived until the death of Mr. Potter in 1888. Mrs. Green spent the remainder of her life in or near North Loup.
She was married to Frank Green March 18, 1891. He died in 1927.
Survivors are one daughter, Hettie, of Cowles, Nebr.; five sons, Leslie of Valley Falls, Kans., Lynn of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Glen of Cowles, Nebr., Johnny and Melvin both of Grand Island.
