MOTHER OF LOCAL RESIDENT SUCCUMBS

Mrs Alma V Moore, 82, the widow of the late William Moore, of Richland township, Rush county, died at the home of her niece, Mrs George Hudson, in Shelbyville at 12:10 this morning. Although she had not been well for a number of years, her condition had been considered serious for only two months.

The daughter of David and Emmaline Lefter Watson, she was born in Franklin county September 29, 1865. Her husband, William Moore, died in October, 1946. Since October 1947, she had been living with the niece in Shelbyville.

Survivors are: Six sons, Andrew D Moore, near Greensburg, Charles Moore, of Decatur county, Harold Moore, of Rush county, Ed Moore, of Knightstown, Earl Moore, of Knightstown, Earl Moore, of Valparaiso, and Lon Moore, of New Carlisle; two daughters, Mrs Ben F Norris, Washington CH, Ohio and Mrs Thelma Henthorne, Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs Lou an, of Richland township; 26 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Moster Mortuary in Rushville Monday afternoon at two o'clock, followed by burial in East Hill cemetery, Rushville. Friends may call at the mortuary at any time.
