Arline J. McCandless, 88, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2007 at Select Specialty Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary (Jaquess) Moore; her husband, Denzil McCandless; sisters, infant Ruth Moore, Mary Ella Thompson, Betty Crabtree,Sara Kneirim and a brother,John Moore; a great-grandson, Christopher Brown.
She retired from Potter and Brumfield after 38 years of service. Arline belonged to the Owensville United Methodist Church, Cynthiana Chapter O.E.S #445, Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #2714, Princeton Senior Citizens Center and was a
volunteer for the American Red Cross.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Darwin Brown of Yorkville, IL; grandchildren,
Patty (Mike) Whitehead, Mark (Shelley) Brown and Eric (Pam) Brown; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew, Jacob,Stephanie, Trisha, Morgan, Tyler and Mackenzie; sisters,Lucille Lowenkamp of Evansville, Virginia Moore of CA; brothers, Chase Moore of CA and Robert Moore of Princeton.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday January 5, 2008 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville. Burial will be in the Columbia (White Church) Cemetery. Pastor Mark Fernihough will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the church.
