According to obit in Red Oak Express, dated Friday, 10 Feb 1899, Samuel died Friday 3 Feb 1899. So the dates of both his birth and death are wrong. Date of Birth was about 1846. In 1850 census he was 4 and in the 1860 census he was 13.

Son of John Forshey, Jr. and Deborah Ann Burton.

He married Nancy Jane Shamblen 25 Jan 1870 in Noble Co., OH

Samuel was the father of 9 kids we know for sure; Rosella, Deborah, Lillian, Mary, Martha, Samuel, Jr., Geneva, Ella and Thomas.

There is a matter of a couple kids we are not sure of that are listed on the headstone. I believe Dollie is Ella but do not know about Jeffie and Blanche. Jeffie could be nickname for Samuel, Jr.
