William Pridemore, 62, dies at Grand Junction

Union William Pridemore, 62, of Cortez, died Monday at the Veterans Hospital in Grand Junction where he had been a patient for the past year. Mr Pridemore was born on September 22, 1894, in Kosciusko County, Indiana, the son of William H. and Amanda Pridemore. He was married to Miss Lettie Smith October 31, 1925, who survives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by five daughters; Mrs. D. E. Haynes, Kingman, Arizona; Zareefa Cobb, Cortez; Beulah King, Cortez; Esther Henderson, Cortez; Reola Henderson, Cortez; two sons, Wilmer Pridemore, Cortez and Floyd Pridemore, Cortez; nine grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were today at 2 p. m. at the Ertel Memoral Chapel with the Rev. James Smart of Primitive Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in the Cortez Cemetery.
