Ronnie L. McKenzie officiating. Born in Zirkle, Georgia in 1918, Mr. Barry passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 in Jacksonville. He is preceded in death by his wife of over 30 years, Coye Barry and his daughter, Gloria Belle Cooper. He is survived by his daughter, Janice (Mark) Brummer; his son, Gerald C. (Theresa) Barry Jr.; a step daughter, Coye Brewster; three step sons, Arlie Johnson, Lonnie Johnson, and Michael Johnson; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and two loving sister in laws, Doris Barry and Ellen Borjie. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his name can be made to the Northeast Florida Community Hospice or the Kernan Boulevard Baptist Church, building fund. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard South.
