Boneta R. Warren, 83, passed away at her home in Indianapolis Friday, June 4, after an extended illness.

Born in Algonquin, Illinois on St. Patrick's Day, she was soon known as "Pat". Her parents Herman and Zelma (Dickson) Warren moved the family a few years later to Lebanon, Indiana where they resided until their deaths.

Pat was an employee at Eli Lilly for 42 years where at the time of her retirement in 1992 she was an associate in virology research.

Pat began a musical career as the age of 15 while in high school in Lebanon, and played an acoustic bass in several bands in Indianapolis until illness prevented her from playing her beloved music. She was a member of the Indianapolis Jazz Club and The American Legion Auxiliary.

Pat will be missed but will be remembered always for her friendliness and infectious smile.
